Based on the mythical story of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, the show is divided into 11 acts and includes such classic oriental myths as The Queen Mother's Celebration, The Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, The Son of the Dragon King, and The Descent of the Goddess of Mercy. Dafeng and the creative team use modern dance and aesthetic technology to recreate this legend, which has been passed down for more than 600 years, and bring the myth of the Eight Immortals back to life, making Qingdao a world class show.

The international showroom is tailor-made for "Qingxiu", with a total construction area of 21,500 square meters and 1,480 seats. It is equipped with a large water stage, the first wave-making system for performance, a large water curtain fountain and other high-tech equipment integrated with modern dance and aesthetic technology. When the sea mist composed of light effects disappears, realistic sea turtles, jellyfish and other flying props loom over the audience, and waves created by holographic projection hit the stage, causing the audience to sigh in admiration one after another. When the stage opens and closes, scenes in different dimensions such as the universe, the seabed, mountains, etc. are vividly displayed. Various high-tech means combined with music, dance, acrobatics and other forms of performance make the audience feel as if they are in a bizarre plot, bringing strong visual impact and spiritual shock.
