On October 11, Dafeng Culture and Arkasil Robot, together with well-known musician and New Pants band member Pang Kuan, officially announced a groundbreaking music experiment—the world’s first human-robot interactive band, the “Everybody Band.”This pioneering group combines human musicians and physical robots to explore new possibilities at the intersection of music, technology, and the future of society. The project plans to become China’s first long-term artistic and commercial collaboration between humans and robots in the field of live performance.

Co-initiated by Pang Kuan, Zhejiang Dafeng Culture Development Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Arkasil Robot Co., Ltd., the project merges creative artistry with cutting-edge robotics to break traditional performance boundaries and create a brand-new stage experience. More than just a band, Everybody Band represents a cultural experiment that integrates music, performance art, technology, and IP development.

As art forms shaped by technology, the robots will serve as active band members—with more “members” to be revealed in the first quarter of 2026. Each robot will continue refining its playing technique and musical understanding, evolving to “play better, think deeper, and feel music.” This innovation combines precision control, environmental sensing, and artificial intelligence, marking a new stage of creative collaboration between humans and machines in the performing arts.

In the future, the Everybody Band will evolve as a multidimensional cultural experiment, exploring five key directions that connect music, art, and technology. In music, it will create original works jointly composed and performed by humans and robots, redefining the boundaries of creativity and performance. In performance art, it will take “human-machine relationships” as its central theme, extending into multimedia and cross-disciplinary artistic practices that inspire reflection on technology and humanity. In live performances, the band will build immersive stage installations to deliver transformative, next-generation concert experiences. In visual and IP development, it will construct a futuristic world and storytelling universe around the band’s robotic members. Finally, in education and collaboration, it aims to explore new models of robotic music education and cross-industry partnerships that expand its influence beyond the stage.

As the world’s first human-robot band, Everybody Band embodies Dafeng and Pang Kuan’s shared artistic vision for the future—a bold fusion of music, technology, and imagination. Together, humans and machines will create a stage filled with love, energy, and freedom, redefining what it means to make music in the age of intelligent creativity.
