Ten million safety rules, prevention first - Dafeng fire fighting skills competition

Safety is more important than anything else, and the company takes "prevention first, combination of prevention and consumption" as the general policy of fire fighting work, which runs through the whole production, so that fire fighting is seamlessly integrated into the production practice. In order to further popularize the knowledge of fire safety and practical skills of firefighting, enhance the level of firefighting emergency disposal in Dafeng and effectively prevent fire accidents, Dafeng firefighting skills competition is held grandly.

The competition included video training on firefighting knowledge, emergency escape and evacuation drills, fire rescue operation demonstration, fire hose operation, dry powder fire extinguisher extinguishing, etc. 14 teams from various subsidiaries and departments participated in this event.

The participants watched the fire prevention video carefully and gained knowledge of correct fire alarm, accurate use of fire extinguisher and fire escape.

With the sounding of the fire alarm, the fire-fighting skill competition started formally, all the team members and workshop staff evacuated according to the safety escape instruction.

On the field, the team members completed all the projects with standard and standardized actions. The team members worked well together, connecting water belts to knock down the target accurately; charging hard and skillfully putting out the fire with fire extinguishers. Finally, Dafeng Railway, Dafeng Sports and Dafeng Stage won the top three male teams; Dafeng Assembly, Dafeng Railway and Dafeng Sports won the top three female teams.

Feng Yue, Vice Chairman of the company, Chen Yi, Deputy General Manager of the delivery centre, and Su Bin, Director of the General Manager's Office, presented awards to the winning teams respectively.
