High-Quality Development Exchange on Performing Arts Equipment Kicks Off at Dafeng

In October 2025, a delegation for the High-Quality Development Exchange on Performing Arts Equipment visited Dafeng for research and guidance. The event brought together officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, along with representatives from affiliated art institutions, professional colleges, and the China Entertainment Technology Association, totaling over 100 participants. The visit focused on exploring Dafeng’s practical achievements and innovation pathways in the development of domestically produced performing arts equipment.

Dafeng was the first stop of the delegation. At the Technology Experience Center and the Development History Exhibition Hall, guests gained a comprehensive understanding of Dafeng’s growth and accomplishments in the performing arts equipment sector. They also experienced firsthand the full process of creating an immersive stage environment, where all on-stage and off-stage equipment is integrated and controlled through Dafeng’s self-developed master control system, demonstrating the company’s solid technical foundation and R&D capabilities.

Dafeng highlighted its latest innovations in stage machinery control systems. Supported by national-level platforms such as the “Technology Innovation Center for Intelligent Stage System Integration” established at Dafeng by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the company’s localization efforts are advancing from basic equipment substitution to a new phase of deep in-house R&D combined with intelligent empowerment. Through continuous technological breakthroughs, Dafeng is overcoming key technical barriers, promoting digital empowerment in performing arts equipment, and driving domestic innovation to a higher level.

On the same day, a debut performance of “human-robot co-performance,” developed by Dafeng’s subsidiary Zhejiang Arkasil Robot Co., Ltd., was unveiled. Featuring a group of full-scale large robots performing synchronized choreography, the show demonstrated complex and highly coordinated movements. This performance represents a forward-looking exploration for the large-scale application of entertainment robots in real-world scenarios such as cultural venues, tourism destinations, and commercial complexes.

The delegation then visited one of Dafeng’s representative projects under its integrated “construction and operation” model, the Jinshahu Grand Theatre, for on-site research.
