Commended for Excellence: Dafeng Recognized in the 2024 Stage Equipment Upgrade Project at the National Peking Opera Theatre

In December 2025, the acceptance review for the National Peking Opera Theatre Stage Equipment Upgrade Project was held at the Mei Lanfang Theatre in Beijing. Leaders from the Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Peking Opera Theatre, and other organizations attended, alongside specialized auditing units, industry experts, and supervisory representatives. Dafeng’s contributions in stage machinery and stage monitoring systems were specially commended for their outstanding safety, stability, and digitalization, leading the domestic replacement of imported technologies.

Guided by the national “Implementation Plan for Promoting Equipment Upgrades in the Cultural and Tourism Sector,” this project serves as a key demonstration in the stage equipment upgrade field, emphasizing domestically developed, high-end technologies with strong industry-leading value.

Dafeng customized its self-developed stage machinery control systems, digital operations and maintenance platforms, and stage management systems for the Mei Lanfang Theatre and Beijing People’s Theatre, enabling comprehensive venue upgrades. Among these, the DAFENG STACON Stage Control System is the most fully featured product in China to receive TUV certification and meet SIL3 safety standards, with stable applications across multiple key domestic and international projects, laying a strong foundation for safety and demonstrating innovation leadership.

Additionally, Dafeng deployed a digital operations and maintenance platform, which collects and analyzes operational data from venue equipment, providing critical support for safety management and operational decision-making. The stage management system was also fully optimized, integrating digital intercom systems and broadcast-grade virtual production systems. This enables rapid construction of three-dimensional virtual scenes and supports cross-regional production and scheduling, further enhancing content creation and stage presentation capabilities.

Looking ahead, Dafeng will continue to focus on stage equipment upgrades, maintaining independent R&D as the core driving force, tackling key technologies, and advancing the full domestic industrial chain for performance equipment. By delivering safer, smarter, and more reliable systems, Dafeng aims to develop new products, expand application scenarios, drive industry transformation, and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the cultural sector.
